Cedric Varcoe

Cedric Varcoe is an Adelaide born artist with strong family connection to Raukkan and Point Pierce and of Ngarrindjeri and Narangga heritage. His work reflects the creation stories of his ancestral lands, from the lower River Murray to Kangaroo Island. Over 15 years, Cedric has contributed to community arts projects and expanded his techniques working throughout regional South Australia. His work, showcased through Better World Arts, is displayed in galleries across Australia and internationally. Cedric has also been the recipient of the Port Augusta ‘Malka Art Prize’ twice.

introducing Rochelle Pitt our Gala Dinner performer "Soul Mumma"

Rochelle Pitt is a proud Quandamooka, Kabikabi, and Meriam Le woman from Far North Queensland. Her powerful voice and breakout EP Black to Reality celebrated her First Nations heritage. Following her success on The X Factor, Rochelle continues to perform across Australia, including at music festivals and community events. She is an ambassador for APRA AMCOS, advocating for Indigenous artists, and supports Kidney Health Australia.

The National Indigenous Kidney Transplantation Taskforce is funded by the Commonwealth, represented by the Department of Health, in contract with the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), housed within Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA). The NIKTT's main operations take place on Kaurna Country.
